Great group of guys very busy shop! but very fair with my time and money.

Took my car in to diagnose erratic revving at idle, rough idle issue. I did not have a check engine light on, which was complicating my efforts to figure out the problem. I dropped my car off and left it overnight. The next day I was informed that they could not find any issue, but suggested I replace a part, even though my current part was working fine as far as they could tell(they told me replacing it was optional and not necessary, but just fyi). I got the car home, only to continue having the same issue. And, I discovered, now my horn did not work(I don't recall if it worked before I dropped it off, so not sure what happened) All in all, I paid over 200 dollars, 107 for an hour of diagnostic labor, and I asked them to change my oil, which was another 100 dollars. So very expensive labor, and did not resolve my issue.

I do not recommend this place if you have a Mini Cooper! We had our mini towed here on Monday. Tuesday we called to find out if they had any information on the mini. They told us the mechanic was FINISHING up the DIAGNOSTIC and would give us a call after lunch. 5 pm rolled around and we heard nothing. Wednesday at lunch we called again to be told that the alternator went out and that caused the battery to go out. Before, we could say anything they told us they had to START the DIAGNOSTIC test over again. Wednesday before they closed they said the transmission and the alternator had to be replaced. We asked for a price and they said we can get all that together for you and call in the morning. Well guess what no phone call!! We called after lunch and spoke with Clay he said for the transmission that was rebuilt would cost us over $7k. Well I'm sorry but, no we are not paying that. Today we are picking up the mini to take it to a mechanic in Atlanta that is only going to charge us $3k. Yes, it's a 3 hour drive and a lot of money but, it's a lot cheaper than these guys. I don't trust this place and I'm trying to figure out why and how they are recommended. By the way they told us the diagnostic fee would be $108. They charged us twice because of the so called problem with the alternator and battery and we had to pay $220 or they would not give us our car.

In the time honored tradition of taking advantage of customers, Bavarian Motor works continues to shine. Poor customer service, exorbitant pricing on parts , no credit for part cores, and excessive labor charges. I would recommend this excuse for a repair shop to only those that don't care about money or service and enjoy being lied to.

Another 2 grand dropped on this car. At least the people working here are nice and honest. Hell of a lot more than I can say about Taylor BMW.
